Tossly is about personal change, not business or organizational change.

Though many of the terms used are similar, in business getting something done right, on time and with the support of others is critical, and you measure, or are measured, by what you accomplish.

You structure your “steps” to achieve in coordination with the team, there are bosses and workers and coaches and players, etc.

Personal change is less structured. It’s finding the best path for you, instead of the group or for a market niche.

Sometimes people want to change using the business models of faster, more structured, getting everybody’s input, satisfy others, and sometimes it works. But it also can become an unseen source of pressure and frustration that ultimately inhibits personal change.

Seeing that personal change is different than business or organizational change can make you better at both.

It’s a small step that opens large paths…

… what you’ve always dreamed of, are afraid of, or what you’ve been putting off, than by taking small steps. They also work with anything you want to slow down, or speed up.

Here the recipe …

1. Imagine what it is you want to do. Just pick one step to begin.

2. Give it prominence physically or in writing. Like putting your running shoes by the door, or writing ideas where you will see them.

3. Give the step time to become visible. It might not be what you first imagine (like running shoes might change to a yoga mat, or maybe you’ll draw a design or add color).

4. Take the step.

5. Celebrate you took (even the smallest) step. Smiling to yourself will suffice – add any additional celebration that feels good.

6. Ask yourself what’s the next step? More of the same or something different?

Repeat 1-6.

Doing is key to personal change … and there is no better way to start.
